Our Programs
Daily Food Delivery Program
Our core programming at Henrico Community Food Bank consists of our Daily Food Delivery Program. We deliver thirty to forty pounds of shelf stable and perishable food to households in need of food assistance. Please note we do not have a walk-up pantry open to the public.
This service is available to any resident of Henrico regardless of income level, age, or immigration status, and operates 5-6 days a week. Each delivery is household-specific, and changes depending on family size, food allergies/dietary restrictions, and religious and ethnic considerations.
Families are eligible to receive one delivery per month per household.

Expanding Our Reach at the Oak Avenue Complex
Henrico Community Food Bank operates a satellite pantry location beyond the Daily Food Delivery Program at the Oak Avenue Complex (previously the Highland Springs High School). If you are in need of immediate assistance, you can receive one non-perishable bag and complete an intake to sign up for our monthly delivery service.

Targeted Community Distributions
HCFB partners with the Henrico County Public Schools system, other agencies, and nonprofits to set up community distributions throughout the 5 magisterial districts specifically targeting extended periods that students are out of school.

Community Garden
HCFB began its Community Garden Program in the Summer of 2023 as a way to contribute fresh, organic, locally-grown produce into client deliveries. Each week during the summer season produce is harvested and added to our daily food delivery bags.
